What better way to recycle a wine bottle than to transform it into a sculptural wind chime? Each bottle is sliced like a loaf of bread and the pieces are kiln-fired until they melt into flat circles. Then they’re strung on heavy duty nylon secured to treated pine, ready to provide a lifetime of eye catching color and resonant sounds. Proudly handmade in Georgia using all US-made elements, now with the artisans’ daughters and daughter-in-law helping the studio thrive.
